Simon Jones is a filmmaker, voice actor, podcast host, and creative industry professional based in North Wales. As the founder of Cre8ive Wrexham, he is passionate about bringing together creatives, championing local talent, and creating opportunities for collaboration across the region's thriving creative sector.

With a First Class BSc (Hons) in Television Production, Simon has built a diverse career spanning documentary filmmaking, television production, casting, live events, and commercial voice acting. His work as a Casting Researcher has seen him help discover and develop contributors for factual television, while his experience as a Camera Assistant with Wrexham A.F.C. has given him first-hand insight into high-pressure broadcast production and live sport.

As host of the Cre8ive Wrexham Podcast, Simon sits down with filmmakers, performers, musicians, artists, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals to uncover the stories behind their careers. 

Émilie Freeman has a wealth of talent as a freelance Camera Operator, Director and Producer, and has worked within professional production for a number of years. Èmilie recently completed her production experience whilst working with HBO and Warner Brothers on the 'House of The Dragon' production in North Wales, and is expanding her professional career within the Industry. As a co-host within Cre8ive Wrexham's Podcast, Émilie brings industry experience, knowledge and a genuine interest in helping creatives gain valuable experience as well as an an understanding of professional employment also. Èmilie has been a supporter of Cre8ive Wrexham from its very beginning, and we are extremely fortunate to have her on board with us.
